The film has not just collected massive numbers at the box office but has also received a lot of love from audience and industry folks alike. Most recently, Bollywood star Aamir Khan spoke about the spy-thriller. While he praised the film, he also revealed that he is yet to watch it. The actor was attending the International Film Festival of Delhi 2026, where he said, "I believe it’s doing really well. I have not seen the film yet. But I hear only praises of the film. Dhurandhar 1 and now Dhurandhar 2. Both the films have done exceptionally well and my very best wishes to the team." The first part of Dhurandhar was released in December 2025 and became a global sensation, earning over ₹1300 crore worldwide. It starred Ranveer Singh as Hamza, an undercover Indian intelligence agent who infiltrates criminal and political networks in Karachi to dismantle a terror cell. The star-studded cast includes Akshaye Khanna, Sanjay Dutt, Arjun Rampal, R. Madhavan, Sara Arjun, Rakesh Bedi and Danish Pandor, among others. The sequel, Dhurandhar: The Revenge, which released on March 19, has already earned over Rs 600 crore in India. The second part explores the rise of Hamza, while delving into his origins as Jaskirat Singh Rangi. On the work front, Aamir Khan is producing the films Ek Din and Lahore 1947. His film Sitaare Zameen Par also released on OTT recently.
